Measuring tips

Measure to the widest points and round up slightly. For odd-shaped rooms, break the floor into rectangles and triangles, calculate each, and add them. Always order around 5–10% extra material to cover cuts, waste and future repairs — flooring batches can be hard to match later.

How do I calculate square footage?
