The formula

Percent = (Numerator ÷ Denominator) × 100

How to calculate it

  1. Divide the top of the fraction by the bottom (3 ÷ 4 = 0.75).
  2. Multiply by 100 (0.75 → 75).
  3. Add the % sign (75%).

3/4 as a percent: 3 ÷ 4 = 0.75, × 100 = 75%.
